Katomscrypto
Connecting a web interface to Ethereum.
A React demo for connecting MetaMask, requesting wallet-to-wallet ETH transfers, and displaying transaction records.

The question
Katomscrypto was a learning project exploring how a React interface works with an Ethereum wallet and a Solidity contract.
The approach
The React client uses ethers to connect to MetaMask and request a wallet-to-wallet ETH transfer. A separate contract call records the recipient, amount, message, keyword, and timestamp for the transaction view.
The transfer and the record are separate operations. MetaMask submits the ETH transfer; the contract stores metadata and emits an event. It does not perform or verify the transfer.
What I explored
The demo gave me practice with React context and state, wallet connection, ethers providers and signers, contract reads and writes, and pending transaction feedback. Hardhat provided the Solidity development tooling.
Historical learning demo. Current production readiness is not established; major dependency upgrades may require migration and fresh validation.
