The question
How can a voice tool fit into the way someone already works? LocalFlow explores the small but useful transition from saying a thought aloud to having editable text in the active application.
The approach
The core workflow is designed around WhisperKit for transcription and Ollama for text cleanup, followed by insertion into the active application. Transcription and text processing are separated into replaceable components.
What I explored
The project considers correction feedback, goal-based rewriting, translation, and model choices for different Mac hardware. These ideas extend the same focused workflow rather than turning it into a separate place to manage work.
